Participate in Our Studies

For Parents and Children

Our studies examine how children between the ages of 4 and 12 think about and solve numerical problems and how different games and activities affect their mathematical understanding. Most studies provide children with a unique opportunity to practice math one-on-one with a trained tutor from Boston College.

Participation in the learning sessions are free of charge to all families who participate. Parents and children receive a small gift for their participation.

Some families participate by coming to the Thinking and Learning Laboratory on the Boston College campus, other children participate through cooperation with their child’s school, after-school, or summer program. For more information or to initiate a collaboration with your child’s school please feel free to contact us at 617-552-1446 or BCLearningLab@gmail.com
